Visitors from home 15 April 2025
Annette and Frank came to visit us – and it was simply wonderful.
They arrived on Thursday, and already that first evening was magical. It was just like old times: good food, good conversations, lots of laughter, and that sense of familiarity you only get with people who truly matter to you.
On Friday, we set out together – to the sea, to the Rubjerg Knude lighthouse. The wind, the vastness, the view across the dunes – it was breathtaking, even for us, even though we know this area well.
Afterward, we drove on to Lønstrup and had brunch at this wonderful little ceramic café there. A place with such a special atmosphere – stylish, peaceful, and simply cozy.
Those days with Annette and Frank felt like a little escape in the middle of everyday life. And it did my heart good to have a piece of home with us again – here in our new home.
