July 26, 2025 There's nothing to report today - absolutely nothing! And yet it becomes the most beautiful day!
It's wonderfully warm. We have 25° in the shade and it's windy - what a blessing! Without this refreshing breeze, you couldn't bear the sun. A leaden stillness has settled over the land. No one is out and about - the world belongs entirely to me!
Since I worked yesterday and didn't have the energy to go shopping, I have to do it today. What luck! That's why I'm out driving and experiencing this miracle.
I drive through the fields toward town - and what a spectacle awaits me! It's incredible how the land glows and radiates! It's not just the sky shining in bright splendor - it's the golden grain fields, the meadows in their magnificent, lush green, the wildflower meadows in radiant yellow, in regal purple, and in heavenly blue. It's a profusion of blossoms, a symphony of colors that I've rarely seen so intensely in my life. I'm completely overwhelmed by this beauty!
I simply have to stop and get out and savor this magical sight to the fullest. What a gift
These sweet alpacas, by the way, are at home in Bratten. You can book hiking tours with them!
