Progress on the Move to Denmark

The move to Denmark is taking shape: Michael and Thomas have already transported household items, while I've been taking care of clearing out the property. In just under two months, the complete relocation will happen.

Progress on the Move to Denmark December 4, 2023

It's been quite a busy weekend behind me. Michael has been at the new house in Denmark since Thursday with Thomas. They drove the moving van and transported another considerable amount of household items to Denmark.

Meanwhile, I've continued clearing out the barn and house, sorting out bulky waste, and making several disposal runs.

Slowly everything is taking shape—or rather, slowly it's becoming empty here. Although it's hard to imagine that it will ever be completely cleared out. The amount of things that still need to be disposed of or moved is still considerable.

It's only just under two months until we move completely to Denmark. I myself won't be in Denmark again until Christmas, and I'll admit that I'm a little envious of Michael and Thomas for the weekend they've just spent there.

But they've definitely earned the break after all the work they've done!

Next week, my cousin and her husband will be at our house for a few days. The reason: we're getting several technical connections set up, and it's important that someone is on-site. It's convenient that they only live three and a half hours away, so they can easily take a week's vacation with us.

Slowly everything is taking shape—or rather, slowly it's becoming empty here.
